Suzie Hagens photographs, films, writes, and makes music—preferably all at once. In 2022, she graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy with a degree in Fine Arts Photography.

 

Her projects explore the theme of ‘subjective journalism'. What happens when you consciously use your own biases and so-called truths? When you play with them and ask yourself what other story they could tell? Her observations often shape a new, intuitive world where facts turn into fantasy.
